Brookline is one of those quintessential Boston neighborhoods, with adorable brick houses, wide lanes, and T trains barreling straight down the middle of Beacon street. There are also plenty of amazing restaurants, if you know where to look.
Washington Square on Beacon Street is one of the cutest, up-and-coming foodie neighborhoods in Boston. We came here for brunch one weekend at Ribelle and haven’t stopped raving about it since then.
Ribelle
Nick ordered from the savory menu, choosing the bolognese with sunny egg, duck fat biscuits, and parmesan. It was absolutely delicious – packed with flavor and protein. A great start to the day!
With my sweet tooth, I almost always opt for the French Toast option on any brunch menu. I love trying the different variations from each chef.
This one was indeed unique – with eggplant syrup and caramelized onion sugar. It was very tasty – though almost TOO sweet for me, and that’s saying a lot!
Luckily I had Nick’s savory dish to peck at to offset all the sugar in mine. I loved the presentation of both dishes – clean, simple, but still nice to look at.
Since then, we’ve come back for dinner at Ribelle and had another spectacular meal. But that’s for another post! 🙂
