Though we’re in the midst of transitioning to fall, this past Saturday in Boston felt like the heart of summer. I dressed for the humid 90+ degree weather by putting my hair in a bun and pairing my peach Target top with a fun Forever 21 skirt and purse.
Grass Fed Jamaica Plain
We ventured to Grass Fed, a burger joint in Jamaica Plains. Grass Fed serves 100% grass fed beef, which means their cows are never fed unnatural antibiotics or hormones.
I ordered a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, avocado, and the house “special sauce” on a potato bun. It was simple, no fuss decliciousness.
Hamburger and special sauce “in the grass,” which means it comes on a bed of lettuce instead of the standard potato bun. Perfect healthy option for those who are craving a burger but don’t want the carbs.
This mountain of a sandwich is their Turkey BLT!
Of course, on a hot day in J.P. you have to go to J.P. Lick’s for some dessert ice cream! I got my favorite – cookie dough ice cream in a waffle cone. It was perfect & so refreshing!
