This weekend, I kicked off Boston Fashion Week with a trip to the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA)’s First Fridays: Fashion Fusion. As many of you know, I’ve gotten more into fashion blogging this summer, so I was excited for this!
Boston Fashion Week at the ICA
The event had live models in extravagant fall gear (put on by Boston fashion students), leading to a beauty bar and photobooth.
The beauty bar gave us bright red lips for fall!
Once we were all glam-ed up, we ventured upstairs to check out the art.
This exhibit was fun and interactive. Two chairs attached to the wall, and two identical chairs were free to roam around. We could move them, sit in them, and take pictures of them. The picture turned out even better since we happened to be in matching outfits!
The ICA’s mix of fashion and art was a perfect kick start to Boston Fashion Week!
