Though it didn’t quite feel like summer in Boston this weekend (foggy, drizzling, temps in the 60’s), there’s always a silver lining. For a blogger, this means going out to capture the perfect lighting! Sunny days can cast harsh light and shadows, but overcast weather is some of the best natural lighting you can get, so I took advantage of this to showcase my favorite new off the shoulder top!
Off the shoulder tops are a huge trend this season, so I was so excited to receive this denim ruffle OTS top from SheIn (only $14)! It combines the OTS trend with the denim trend perfectly, and the denim makes it so versatile with different colors and fabrics. I paired it with a lace cream Forever 21 skirt (old, but see similar styles here, here, and here), my favorite summer lace espadrille sandals from Nordstrom, a Wild Juniper necklace you may remember from our trip to NYC, and my trusty black Desigual purse.

This weekend we tried a great tapas joint that we’ve been hearing rave reviews about. I’m such a fan of tapas restaurants because you get to try so many different plates rather than committing to one large dish! Stay tuned for that post soon to come.
