It’s no secret that I adore Brazilian food! When we visited Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian steakhouse, the cheese bread appetizers were just as drool-worthy as the meat itself. So when I heard about Forno de Minas bringing these delicious Brazilian cheese snacks (aka pao de queijo) to the U.S. AND making them gluten-free, I was all in!
These puffy bite-sized snacks come pre-baked, so they only need 5 minutes in the oven. They came out perfectly fluffy, warm, with a subtle cheese filling – nothing over-the-top. Simple deliciousness!
They can be served as party apps, a savory breakfast, or an after work snack. We downed them all in about two seconds, they were so good! We’re planning on putting these in our grocery rotation – I can’t recommend them enough!
