You may remember my recent post on the T3 Micro Hair Straightener and Blow Dryer, where I gushed about how every girl should own these hair tools and how the blow dryer cut my styling time in half and pretty much changed my life. So when I found out that T3 Micro came out with an Interchangeable Curling Iron, I knew I had to add it to my hair styling arsenal! Read on to learn all about it and my experience with the various wands.
T3 Micro does not mess around with their styling tools. Like I mentioned above, their blow dryer cut my styling time in half and makes my hair super glossy and frizz-free. For when I want fun curls or beachy summer waves, their curling wands are just as amazing! They’re made with tourmaline and ceramic barrels, which seal the hair cuticle for a smooth, shiny finish. Plus, they’re really pretty – rose gold and pearly white? Yes please!
The amazing thing about this curling wand is that it’s interchangeable, so you can swap out different wands depending on what type of curl or wave you want that day. Pictured above, the 3 wands on the right make up the Whirl Trio, which won the Winner of the 2016 and 2015 Allure Magazine Best of Beauty Award. Color me impressed! The two clip wands on the right are the Defined Curls and Polished Curls wand.
Here’s the hair style by each wand starting from the right:
- Tapered: Beachy, natural-looking waves (my fave!)
- 1″ Straight Barrel: Mermaid, spiraled curls, defined waves
- 1.5″ Straight Barrel: Full-bodied, bombshell waves
- 1.25″ Straight Barrel with Clip: Glamorous waves, volume with curl
- 1″ Straight Barrel with Clip: Classic, bouncy curls
If you’re following me on Instagram then you know I recently chopped off 8 inches of locks to donate! The great thing about this wand is that I’ve used it on both super long and now super short hair, and I’m loving the curls at every length!
My favorite way to use the wands is to create curls, spritz on some hairspray, and pull out the curls with your fingers enough to turn them into natural-looking curls or waves. They’re even better as second-day, and if you brush them out at that point, they become natural-looking voluminous locks!
