Summer Getaway in Wareham, Massachusetts
Wareham Beaches
🌟Onset Beach
🌟Little Harbor Beach
🌟Swift Beach
We strolled along Onset Beach, which is lined with beautiful Cape homes and peaceful bobbing docks for their boats. It’s just down the road from cute hotels and restaurants, so it would be so convenient to hang out here in the summer!
Wareham Food & Drink
🌟Glen Cove Hotel, Bay Room restaurant and 1883 Lounge bar
🌟Stone Path Malt – take a tour and/or visit their tap room
🌟Marc Anthony’s: Iconic pizza/Italian restaurant
🌟Kool Kone: Iconic ice cream parlor
After the beach, we stopped in at the Glen Cove Hotel for lunch in their Bay Room restaurant. The food was so delicious here, and it was really nice chowing down while gazing out at the bay views. The tacos are a must-try – they’re messy but delicious! I also really liked their fish & chips tartar sauce – it was packed with flavor. The staff is really sweet too, even bringing over some flowers when they saw I was snapping pics of the food!
Hiking/Camping in Wareham
🌟Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary
🌟Myles Standish State Forest
Though we didn’t go hiking or camping on our trip, Wareham does offer a wildlife sanctuary and the Myles Standish State Forest for outdoor adventures!
Wareham Activities
🌟Go to a Wareham Gatemen baseball game – part of the iconic Cape Cod League
🌟Visit cranberry bogs (Fall)
🌟Onset Blues Festival (August 2020)
Who doesn’t love a good baseball game in the summer? The Cape Cod League offers iconic and must-see games during the warmer months! I for one am really excited for the cranberry bogs in the fall too – it reminds me of that I Love Lucy episode where she’s squishing all the grapes with her feet!
